This is ZM-Grow™, a premium zinc and manganese containing foliar fertilizer extracted from recycled metals,

first of its kind. In our process, zinc and manganese are extracted and purified from used alkaline batteries.

ZM-Grow is approved for organic farming in the EU, UK and Australia.

About ZM-Grow™

The product is a sulphate-based liquid concentrate which is mixed with water and sprayed on the plants. This way the micronutrients are absorbed directly into the plant. 

If a plant is deficient in zinc or manganese, this can severely limit the plant's growth and prevent it from using other nutrients as efficiently as it otherwise could. 

ZM-Grow™ is chemically stable and has excellent mixing properties. Tank mixing experiments with dozens of different plant protection chemicals have not caused solids to form. The resulting mixtures flow through smoothly through filters and spraying nozzles, which makes for effortless spraying. 

ZM-Grow™ is suitable for most plants and especially for wheat, oats, barley, and grass.

Farmers and sprayers have had positive experiences with ZM-Grow because of its ease of use and very high yield increments: increases of up to 1500 kg/ha (27 %) has been measured in trials.

The product has also been tested in the U.S. field experiments for tomatoes, cotton, avocadoes and other plants with good results, even beating market-leading products in some experiments. More field trials are scheduled for the summer of 2020.

ZM-Grow™ user instructions

1. Shake the container well: after long storage times there might be some sedimentation which dissolves with mixing in warm conditions.

2. First, do a bucket-sized mixing experiment with ZM-Grow™, water and your plant protection chemicals to see if they mix properly or not. Usually problems have not occurred, but all possible agrichemicals have not been tested by Tracegrow. This gives safety when ZM-Grow™ is used with unknown products.

3.  Fill the spraying equipment with water.

4.  Pour in the plant protection chemicals (if used).

5.  Pour in ZM-Grow™.

6.  Spray the mixture evenly on the crop. Early morning/night is recommended for spreading (conditions shouldn’t be too hot, so the product doesn’t dry on the leaves).

7.  Re-apply about 7–14 days later, if deemed necessary by visual confirmation or lab results.
