ZMC-Grow belongs to Tracegrow’s product line of circular economy fertilizers.

ZM-Grow is a premium zinc, manganese and copper containing foliar fertilizer made from zinc and manganese extracted and purified from used alkaline batteries and from recycled copper. ZMC-Grow is approved for organic farming in the EU.

About ZMC-Grow™

The product is a sulphate-based liquid concentrate which is mixed with water and sprayed on the plants. This way the micronutrients are absorbed directly into the plant. 

Foliar application is an efficient way of correcting micronutrient deficiencies in plants. In addition, they can also be applied along with NPK-fertilizers through the soil. The most effective method of increasing micronutrient content is by application through combined foliar and soil fertilization. 

ZMC-Grow can be used to correct these deficiencies and can work on any plant. The added copper in ZMC-Grow is especially well received by oats and barley, which need copper to produce better grain yields. The manganese content of ZMC-Grow can also improve the plant’s resistance to cold conditions when applied for winter crops. 

When the plant’s vigor and metabolism are improved with zinc, manganese and copper, the plant can also use NPK-fertilizers more efficiently, providing the plant with balanced nutrition.

ZMC-Grow is chemically stable; tank mixing experiments with dozens of plant protection chemicals have not caused solid formations and the mixtures pass through the spraying equipment with ease, making mixing and spraying ZMC-Grow effortless .

ZMC-Grow user instructions

1. Shake the container well: after long storage times there might be some sedimentation which dissolves with mixing in warm conditions.

2. First, do a bucket-sized mixing experiment with ZMC-Grow, water and your plant protection chemicals to see if they mix properly or not. Usually problems have not occurred, but all possible agrichemicals have not been tested by Tracegrow. This gives safety when ZMC-Grow is used with unknown products.

3.  Fill the spraying equipment with water.

4.  Pour in the plant protection chemicals (if used).

5.  Pour in ZMC-Grow.

6.  Spray the mixture evenly on the crop. Early morning/night is recommended for spreading (conditions shouldn’t be too hot, so the product doesn’t dry on the leaves).

7.  Re-apply about 7–14 days later, if deemed necessary by visual confirmation or lab results.
